Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For organic field effect transistors (OFETs), pentacene is used as a typical semiconductor material and has as high mobility as a-Si. Dibenzochrysene as well as pentacene consists of only aromatic rings. Itcan be synthesized by simple procedure and has higher solubility than pentacene. We found that the morphology of dibenzochrysene film depended on a deposition rate. The films fabricated with 0.2nm/s and 1.7×10^<-3>nm/s were amorphous and island structure, respectively. The morphology for Dibenzochrysene films changed with time in low vacuum. The post film showed higher crystalline and larger crystals than before. We studied the effect of buffer layer and rising substrate temperature for the suppression of molecular migration, but we could not be successful.
