Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To date, a number of numerical analysis in time domain has been investigated for sound wave propagation. Conventional methods of numerical analysis in time domain define the time-step under the Courant-Friedrichs-Lewy (CFL) condition, i.e. CFL number is smaller than one. On the other hand, by means of both the method of characteristics and the method of Semi-Lagrange, constrained interpolation profile (CIP) scheme allows us to calculate sound wave propagation with CFL number larger than one. In this study, we examine the numerical analysis for acoustic fields using some types of CIP methods with the lager CFL number and evaluate the calculation accuracy and cost.
