| 抄録(和) | 拡散MR画像は,水分子の拡散係数を定量的に計測,画像化したもので,多方向の拡散計測により異方性の情報も得られる.今日では,脳白質線維束の可視化や拡散の定量解析におけるソースモダリティとして臨床的にも広く普及している.また,臨床・基礎医学上の有用性のみならず,これまでのスカラ画像にはない性質に対して工学,応用数学などの分野の研究者からも注目されている.本講演は,チュートリアル講演として拡散MRイメージングの基礎知識や実践的な臨床応用まで,最新の研究成果を交えた解説を行う. |
| 抄録(英) | Diffusion magnetic resonance image (MRI) is based on quantitative measurement of water diffusion, and also describes diffusion anisotropy by means of multi-directional image acquisition. Recently, diffusion MRI is clinically widespread as a source modality for visualization and quantitative analysis of brain white matter fiber bundles. In addition to significance in clinical research and medical science, researchers in related fields such as biomedical engineering and applied mathematics are attracted by diffusion MRI because of its characteristics different to scalar images. In this tutorial, basics and practical aspects in clinical use of diffusion MRI are presented with recent research outputs. |
