Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The class E_M amplifier is composed of class E amplifier and auxiliary circuit output harmonic. The class E_M amplifier achieve jumpless current and voltage waveforms, so class E_M amplifier keeps high efficiency operation with long turn-off switching time in comparison with the class E amplifier. However, the conventional class E_M amplifier design can not consider the efficiency of the auxiliary circuit because of design complexity. This paper presents the novel design of class E_M amplifier. Proposed design consider the efficiency of auxiliary circuit, so design auxiliary circuit which achieves ZVS. In addition, in this paper, the design curve of the class E_M amplifier with the auxiliary circuit achieves ZVS when input voltage at the auxiliary circuit are made to change is clarified. Moreover, by carrying out the laboratory experiments, we show the validity of the design curve in this paper.
