Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The tone of signal is changed by various methods now. There is a method of using effector circuits for one of tone translation methods. This paper presents the tone translation method using a circuit simulator. In this method, an effector circuit is realized by the circuit simulator, and the data of sound is excited into the circuit as input signal. Then, the output signal computed by the circuit simulator is translated into sound data again. Thereby, we made it possible to translate tone through the effector circuit, without actually making the effector circuit. Moreover, the output results of the circuit simulator were analyzed and modeled and the model was realized by the program on MATLAB. Calculation time was reduced by this method. Output results of MATLAB were compared with the outputs of circuit simulator in terms of spectra, spectrograms, and sounds. These were closely matched.
