Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We apply two-dimensional information codes to education. The two-dimensional information codes can be printed on paper sheets and displayed on cell-phone screens. Using these codes, PCs and other electrical devices can be controlled. First, we use quick response (QR) codes to control PCs and realize a sentence reader, a remote lesson helper, an automatic mailer, and an automatic scorer. Next, we use invisible tiny dot codes to control portable audio devices and realize talking books, talking cards and talking school facilities. We believe that these dot-code reading systems are very useful to realize easy-to-use tools for education and improve accessibility in schools.
