Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There's a need for the infrastructure that supports English-mediated remote communication between non-natives. It includes 2 elements : multilingual and remote ; and both environment and technology are necessary that supports them totally. We developed the prototype of supporting infrastructure which applied multilingual collaboration tool and Web service composite technology, and conducted a user test. The result shows that sub channel communication is effective at the seminar for promoting bidirectional communication between presenter and participants, improvement of participants' understandings and easing mental load.
