| 抄録(和) | 肢体不自由者は身体が不自由なため、日常生活動作(ADL)を行うために介助者、あるいは支援機器のサポートが必要となる。特に支援機器をコントロールしたり、介助者とコミュニケーションを取ったりするシステムのユーザインタフェースは、容易な操作で扱えることが望まれる。そこで本研究ではこれらへの応用を想定し、先行研究を参考にしながら画像認識技術を用いて数種類の口部形状を自動認識するシステムを試作した。本研究では予め取得した対象者の口部画像と、カメラにより取得した口部画像それぞれから得た明度分布を比較して類似度を求めることにより、頻度分布の特徴解析を行うことなく、口部形状を認識する。本研究では肢体不自由者1名の協力を得て、協力者宅で試用実験を行い、対象ユーザからの意見や要望を参考にシステムを改良した。 |
| 抄録(英) | The orthopedically-impaired people need care takers or assistive devices to support their ADL (Activities of Daily Living). The user interface for such devices needs to be simple as possible. Therefore, we designed a system that can automatically recognize several mouth shapes using image recognition techniques by referring to earlier studies. Mouth pattern images are saved in advance as templates. The system calculates the degree of similarity by comparing intensity distribution of each template and that of the image obtained from camera in order to recognize the mouth pattern without analyzing intensity distribution. Using this system, the experiment has been carried out with our orthopedically-impaired collaborator who hasbeen giving us various comments and requests. |
