Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are developing an automatic speech recognition system used for information assurance at meetings for hearing impaired people. This system is especially useful in the situation that the third person including a sign-language interpreter or a note-taker can not support them. In this paper, we evaluated the system from the viewpoint of mental workload for users (both of a speaker and a mender) and utterance efficiency. Accordingly, we knew the following. (1) The method how recognition results are displayed immediately before misrecognitions are replaced with the correction words which are input by a keyboard is better. (2) It is necessary to let a speaker consider correction work moderately.
