Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This article deals with an effect of power saving by multi coordinator placement in ZigBee sensor network in case of being used at wide area such as buildings and factories. First, the effectiveness of multi coordinator has been shown by simulation for network configuration in which end devices are placed at random, and we investigate the upper limit of coordinators in which such effectiveness is obtained. Then, using simulation conducted based on the actual network configuration model, distribution of which is imbalanced, we propose the placement of coordinators in accordance with the distribution of end devices.
