Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) On wireless LANs, a mobile host handovers between wireless LAN access points where characteristics such as delay, bandwidth and packet-loss rate are different. If a new destination access point is congested, mobile host's effective bandwidth will rapidly decrease, and it will cause unfairness of data sending rate between preexistent nodes at the new access point and the mobile host. To prevent such unfairness, it will be effective to calculate new sending rate based on the available bandwidth at a new access point. In this paper propose to use jitter to predict available bandwidth at a new access point for DCCP CCID3. Simulation results show that we can estimate DCCP sending rate using jitter at a access point and applying the estimated sending rate to the sending rate of a mobile host just after a handover is effective.
