Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Context awareness is used to design innovative user interfaces and is often used as a part of ubiquitous and wearable computing. Context aware devices may try to make assumptions about the user's current situation. In this presentation a context aware navigation system is described which is built on Session Initiation Protocol. Our proposed system uses a micro power ID card with the card reader (Base Unit) and the application uses context information like PUID (Portable Unit ID), BUID (Base Unit ID), time and destination location to provide the context aware navigation system. Our proposed navigation system can be designed for hospital where a patient with a micro power ID card can be detected and then provide the navigation map services of the hospital.
