Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to reveal the characteristic of haptic perception of stiffness, two psychophysical experiments were conducted. The results showed that stiffness was perceived not merely based on the terminal force or the amount of change divided by the force or based on the work of dynamics, but based on the process of participant's motion. The haptic perception model of stiffness was proposed.
