Abstract(in English) In this research, we developed a system to manage the sugarcane production. The system includes a farming data recording subsystem and a scheduling subsystem. This paper presents a scheduling algorithm based on simulated annealing for sugarcane production and reports some experimental results for performance evaluation. The experimental evaluation was performed for real data obtained from a sugarcane production corporation in Okinawa and compared with the traditional local search algorithm.
