Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report shows that the characteristic of channel capacity is improved when directional antennas and orthogonal polarization is used at the access point side in indoor MIMO systems by using ray-tracing method. The parameters are used such as received power and spatial correlation at the access point side, and improvement of channel capacity is estimated separately divided into the effect of directivity and orthogonal polarization. Moreover, we generalize about the improvement of the chracteristic by changing the position of access point and room shapes, and examine about the effective beam.
