Measurement of Indoor Multipath Propagation Characteristic at 60GHz

Abstract(in English) Connecting audio and visual digital consumer-electronic by wireless network to transmit uncompress high-definition video, the transmission rate is required to be over 1.5Gbps. 60GHz band is one expected method to realize this high speed wireless system. In this paper, indoor multipath propagation characteristics at 60GHz were measured. The highest time-delay resolution was 0.25nsec. The measurement results showed that, amplitudes and arrival angles of multipath were strongly depended on antenna radiation pattern. The multipath were separable. The measurement results were similar to simulation results using the ray tracing method.
