Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new radio-frequency (RF) radiated immunity/susceptibility test method using rotating-electromagnetic (EM) field with RF pulse is proposed. It has been clarified that the detailed immunity/susceptibility characteristics of electronic equipment can be easily obtained by applying the rotating-EM field to the immunity/susceptibility test. By newly applying RF pulse to the conventional method, it is expected that not only the detailed immunity/susceptibility characteristics but also some immunity-weak points of electronic equipment can be clarified. In this paper, the basic characteristics of the rotating-EM field with RF pulse are clarified theoretically and experimentally. Moreover, a measured result of susceptibility characteristics of a cavity with a slit obtained by using the proposed method is shown as an example.
