Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Utilizing electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structures in power planes is a new approach for suppression of power noise. It is desirable that the dimensions of each unit cell of EBG structures are as small as possible. However, the lower the intended stopband is, the larger the dimensions of the unit cell are. So we present novel inductance-enhanced EBG structures that make it possible to miniaturize the dimensions of the unit cell with a high isolation at the frequency of interest.
