Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a human-body equivalent antenna for evaluating induced currents of ankles of various human bodies including adult males and females and children, standing on the ground plane, exposed to VHF-band electromagnetic wave. The developed antenna consists of small water tanks. By stacking different-size water tanks, various tall lengths and various antenna diameters can be realized. The metal parts of the tank connect adjacent tanks electrically. We compared the induced ankle currents of the proposed antenna with those of realistic-shape heterogeneous human models which have Japanese adult male, female, and children of average heights and weights. From the results, we conclude that we can optimize the human-body equivalent antenna by adjusting the height and diameter of the antenna to fit the various human models.
