Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Trends in operation support system related international standards are introduced from ITU-T SG4 perspective. ITU-T SG4 has three working parties and Questions assigned to each WP carry out the study on telecommunication management. NGN study continues in ITU-T and ITU-T SG4 developed a management architecture standard for NGN, M.3060 in 2006. This Recommendation M.3060 includes a new feature of management based on service oriented management interfaces. Regarding management information models, revised M.3020 was developed and is providing a common management interface specification method for both ITU-T and 3GPP SA5. Application specific standards are now substantially studied in several Fora and Consortia. ITU-T SG4 has a role to harmonize those Fora and Consortia industry standards. Home network management is a new area in which management functions will be studied soon.
