Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A simple and versatile firmware neuron model has been developed with dsPIC30F4012 which has fast 10 bits analog to digital converter with 4 simultaneous sampling and holder circuits, and the analog circuits composed of resistor and capacitor to generate the post synaptic potential waveform as introductory device for the beginners into the neuroscience field. This model has 4 synaptic inputs and 1 output, and the program for the model on dsPIC has been developed with assembler included integrated development environment MPLAB, and the in circuit serial programming facilities. The response pattern of this model can be visualized by the oscilloscope to understand the function of the neuron easily.
