Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) On OFDM transmission in mobile communication environment, the fading which changes the channel characteristics frequently becomes a significant problem. To solve this problem, we have proposed a fading estimation scheme which applies PSAM to OFDM, and interpolates the fading fluctuation by 2-dimentional FFT from the pilot symbols. However, in this scheme, there is a degradation caused by the time discontinuousness in OFDM frames and by the noise contained in pilot symbols. In this paper, we propose a new scheme which improves the estimation accuracy by interpolating the fluctuation of impulse responses between consecutive OFDM frames and removing the noise from these impulse responses. We will show that the performance of proposed scheme is better than that of conventional scheme by computer simulations.
