Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes visual-based online signature verification by tracking the signer's pen tip. Input module of the system consists of only WEB camera without special equipments such as electronic tablets. The system detects the position of the pen tip in camera data by Sequential Monte Carlo, acquires the trajectory data of the pen tip (x, y-coordinate data) and evaluates distance between the trajectory and each reference trajectory of possible candidates. Experimental results show that the system can classify signatures into genuine or forgery from 7 subjects.
