| 抄録(和) | 単身高齢者の家屋内での事故の増加、孤独死は今日大きな社会問題になっている。本研究では家屋内での事故によって動けなくなり助けを呼べない場合や孤独死防止のために、事故による異常を家族や介護者へ通知するシステムを構築した。また、このシステムではこれら異常を通知する装置を既存のものを用いて、出来るだけ安価で簡易な構成とすることを目指してしている。このシステムにより家族や介護者は事故による異常を確認することが出来、家屋内での事故や孤独死の発見に期待ができる。 |
| 抄録(英) | Isolated elderly people have been increasing in Japan. Some problems related to them have been reported ; the increase of accidents they have inside the house, the increase of the lonely death and so on. They should be called social problems. In this study, we tried to improve the communication in order to help elderly people who have suffered from problems above. We designed this system for the purpose of making it simpler and less expensive. The system is basically conducted by an infrared sensor and personal computer (PC). For example, the sensor keeps sensing the existence of the elderly person in a bathroom or in a restroom, and PC measures the time the sensor does. In case the elderly person stays in one place longer than its estimated time, then PC starts to send e-mail to his/her family on helpers. According to this system, family people and helpers will be able to know the situations easier and faster, which will help elder people avoid the accidents or the lonely death. |
