Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Psychological softness consists of the dimension of hardness and that of elasticity. Physical compliance can be expressed as the Maxwell model with the balanced elastic coefficient and the relaxation elastic coefficient. In the active couch condition, we had previously found that the balanced elastic coefficient contributed mainly to both hardness and elasticity and that the relaxation elastic coefficient contributed positively to hardness but contributed negatively to elasticity. In the present study we examined the passive touch condition and found that hardness could not be discriminated from elasticity and that in the slow velocity condition (5mm/s) the relaxation elastic coefficient did not contribute to both of the evaluations.
