Abstract(in English) | Recently new lighting design methods based on environmental brightness, or overall impression of the illuminated space, attract attention instead of the traditional method based on horizontal illuminance. Many researches have been performed on environmental brightness. However, many of these studies focused on physical quantities which affect on environmental brightness, and few of them gave consideration on the psychological process of environmental brightness acquire. In this study, the author propose a method for estimation of environmental brightness in an engineering approach is examined |
