Abstract(in English) | The degradation of SNR caused by the high Hk of medium and small write field of narrow write width is a serious problem for achieving higher areal density. The SNR as a function of Hk with different write field in comparison with the discrete track medium (DTM) and conventional medium is investigated by using micromagnetics simulation. As the result, DTM showed the higher SNR even at low Hk of medium and small write field. |
