Abstract(in English) | Satellite positioning is a most useful technology which enables navigation for cars, ships, airplanes and spacecraft, and enables high accurate survey and geodesy. In Japen, car navigation system and mobile phones with the GPS navigation are widely used, and they got necessary for daily life. Satellite positioning is so useful and important that most advanced countries are developing their own satellite navigation system such as the Russian GLONASS, the Galileo of European Union (EU), the Chinese Beidou/Compass and the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS). I introduce up-to-date status and trends of them in this paper. |
