Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Color calibration is important technique for every color image equipments, such as cameras, printers, displays and so on. In this paper, we study the calibration method between the different cameras. Color representation is one camera (Camera #1) is regarded as ideal. Color representation of the other camera (Camera #2) tunes to Camera #1. First, we study the calibration of monochrome-cameras. In this case, it is easy to realize the calibration by the histogram matching. On the other hand, histogram matching is applied to each channel (i.e., R, G, B) for the color image ; we cannot obtain good compensated result. We propose the histogram matching with the color space transformation. We show that the good calibration results are obtained by the histogram matching for each channel, if we select the suitable color space.
