| 抄録(和) | 本稿では,直交周波数分割多重(OFDM: Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex)通信方式における非線形増幅による信号ひずみの統計的性質について検討を行う.OFDM信号は互いに直交する周波数をもつ複数の搬送波の合成信号であるため,信号振幅の変動が非常に大きくなることが知られている.このような信号を非線形増幅すると,信号がひずんでしまい性能が劣化するという問題がある.非線形増幅された信号の電力は,入力信号の形状により異なる値を示すため,ここでは増幅後の信号をひずんだ信号電力の標本平均で規格化する.計算機シミュレーションにより計測した信号ひずみから標準分布に従う独立な確率変数に近似する.その近似をもとに非線形増幅したときのOFDMの平均ビット誤り率特性の解析を行う.数値例において,非線形ひずみの確率変数への近似の妥当性について検討を行う.解析式により得られる平均ビット誤り率とシミュレーションによるものが一致することを確認する. |
| 抄録(英) | Statistical characteristics of nonlinear distortion due to the amplification in orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) systems are investigated in this report. In OFDM systems, paralleled information symbols modulate multiple subcarriers, and then they are summed up. The signal is known to have large dynamic range and amplitude fluctuation. Such kind of signals is distorted in the amplification due to the nonlinearity of the amplifier ; that results in performance degradation. The power of distorted OFDM signal may be a random variable because the effect of nonlinear amplifier depends on the shape of input signal. Due to this fact, signals normalized by sample average of distorted OFDM signal power are considered in this statistical study. Nonlinear distortions are approximated to random variables with normal distribution according to observed samples of distorted signals. Based on the approximation, the average bit error rate (BER) probability in the presence of nonlinearlity is analyzed. The validity of the approximation is verified in the numerical examples. The BER performance obtained from the analysis is compared with the one from the simulation, and good agreement is confirmed in the use of solid state power amplifier (SSPA). |
