Abstract(in English) | IR-UWB system can achieve high resolution in ranging because it uses very short pulse while the duration of about 1 [ns]. Among various systems suggested to reduce cost and power consumption, there is a ranging system with a high-speed comparators. It is necessary to reduce the noise power through averaging in this system. The influence of clock offset on averaging has not been investigated. In this report, through the influence of clock offset is evaluated, and a two-stage averaging scheme for IR-UWB ranging system is proposed to ease the influence of this. |
