| Abstract(in English) | In this paper, from a very fundamental point of view, we point out the most important matter when discussing information ethics. First we point out that the very important keywords in Japanese words such as information, technology, ethics, etc. are defined ambiguously. Thus it seems that the starting point of discussion itself is left unestablished and only the discussions go on. From early 1960's the information technologies such as ・ Computation Technology (Including Digital Signal Processing) ・ Storage Technology ・ Communication Technology have made extremely rapid progresses. In step with the rapid progresses, so called information society has been formed on the basis of Internet etc. In this paper we first point out that fundamentally important keywords, when discussing on information ethics or information technology, in Japanese words corresponding to English words "Technology", "Ethics", "Information", "IT", etc. are not defined clearly. Secondly we briefly point out that most of the infants in Japan spend their time, mentally, in the poorest surroundings compared with other countries, due to the presence of the various products of rapidly growing information technology which may take away the mind of creation and the mind of sensitivity from the hearts of the infants. |
