Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose novel network architecture based on bufferless packet routing, and discuss the feasibility of the architecture from the view point of packet traffic throughput characteristics. In order to reduce the packet loss at bufferless packet routers due to packet contention on outgoing links, rerouting control method is expected to be effective. Two rerouting control schemes using extended routing tables in the existing IP packet networks and node coordinates in grid-type networks are studied and their tiaffic characteristics are examined by computer simulation.
