A Proposal of Communication Link Model Based on Resonance Frequency of Network Users

Abstract(in English) Various data concerning communication networks (volume of traffic, number of users, etc.) has been mainly used for the resource design of the communication network. This usage of data is based on a quantitative point of view. On the other hand, from a qualitative point of view, we can expect that the characteristic of the activity of the human society is reflected in various data concerning the communication networks in some way. There is a possibility that the applied technology that supports the marketing strategy of the enterprise is achieved if such sociological information can be pulled out from various data of the communication networks. We have clarified the structure of a social network concerning information exchange relation among users from the power laws that appear in the data of the volume of traffic of cellular phones and the number of SNS users. In this paper, we investigate characteristics of the communication frequency of the link of social networks by using the power law seen in the infection process of computer virus, and propose an information propagation model. Simulation result shows that our information propagation model exhibits similar characteristics to the data obtained from actual SNS.
