Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) IEEE P1900.4 WG is a standardization body that devises requirements and a system architecture to enable coordinated network-and-terminal distributed decision making which will aid in the optimization of radio resource usage, including spectrum access control, in heterogeneous wireless access networks. The purpose of this standard is to improve overall network capacity and quality of service in a multiple Radio Access Technologies (RATs) environment. This paper introduces the current status of P1900.4 based on the latest discussions, and NICT's activities toward this standardization.
