Synthesis of parallel prefix adders based on Ling's carry computation

Abstract(in English) Ling adders calculate carry propagation based on adjacent bit pairs, and can be formulated as parallel prefix adders. In this paper, our synthesis framework for usual parallel prefix adders based on carry-generate and propagate functions is extended to treat Ling' carry. Some experimental results are shown to discuss its effectiveness to integrate into our framework.
