An authentication method for an early deployment of nomadic IMS services

Abstract(in English) In order to provide IMS Services in earlier stage of NGN (Next Generation Network), it is necessary to select new methods. The methods require being able to use popular WiFi devices (e.g., Laptop PC, Dual Phone) without additions, and many modifications of the current network equipments. Surely, that methods have ability to defend against security threats (e.g., spoofing), too. To satisfy the requirements, the authors have already proposed authentication methods to provide IMS Services in an early stage of NGN. In this paper, we show new methods which can also prevent spoofing from attacker who is in the same access area, without addition to terminals, and also show the experimental results of prototype system we propose.
