Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Standard specifications for sharing digital content (images, music and video) among consumer electronics, personal computers and mobile devices on home networks are being developed by organizations. Among them, DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) is the most promising one with which many products comply. Although attractive scenarios using mobile devices in remote access have been proposed as future ones, these DLNA specifications/guidelines have not been developed yet. This paper describes scopes and activities of standardization organizations related with home networks and DLNA. Then it depicts study for interworking between mobile devices and DLNA certified devices on a home network in two separate scenarios: the mobile devices are connected to the home network in one scenario, and are outside of the home in the other.
