Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) At a special event such as a fireworks display, the spectators will congregate in a specific place and may try to make calls. In mobile networks, this type of user behavior generates unpredictable excessive traffic, which may exceed the capacity of the network. In order to solve this problem, we have proposed a traffic control method that guides users to avoid congestion. In this paper, we evaluated performance of our proposed traffic control method in realistic environments. We developed a user behavior model and a simulation tool considering real geographical information. Moreover, we evaluated the effectiveness and feasibility of our proposed traffic control method through simulations.
