Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Spam email is the massive amounts of unwanted email messages sent randomly for advertising purposes and soliciting across the Internet. Spam email puts a heavy system load on email server systems and often contains computer viruses. For designing email server systems, it is necessary to make a performance evaluation method to minimize adverse effects of spam emails and their business risks. In this paper, we present a performance evaluation and design method with queueing network model and discrete event simulation approach.
