Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a novel interference cancellation method that utilizes relay stations in multi-user transmission systems. Unlike conventional relay transmission methods, the relay stations are used to decode the interference and transfer their pertinent information to mobile stations. The proposed method exploits the training signals and frame format of the interference when each user transmits signal with different timing. Even if external interference simultaneously arrives at the mobile stations during the transmission period from an access point to the mobile stations, the mobile stations employing the proposed method can effectively cancel the external interference because the relay station transfers the information related to the interference to the mobile stations. Moreover, the computer simulation was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method. we show that the proposed method improves the achievable transmission rate compared to that for multi-user transmission with interference cancellation based on the zero forcing algorithm when the number of antennas at the mobile station is increased.
