Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To provide video transmission services appropriately to users, quality design during service development and in-service quality management based on subjective video quality (Quality of Experience: QoE) are important. Therefore, we require an objective video quality assessment that enables QoE to be evaluated from video characteristics easily and quickly to clarify the indicators of service quality design and management. The degradation factors of video quality can be divided into spatial and temporal distortions. Many objective video quality assessment methods which cover either spatial or temporal distortion have already been proposed. However, there are few methods that can assess the case when spatial and temporal distortions occur at the same time by considering perceptual interaction of these distortions. Therefore, we propose the objective video quality assessment method that can assess perceptual interaction of spatial and temporal distortions in this paper. In order to verify our method, we confirm that our method satisfy the target estimation accuracy.
