Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this research, a method that focuses on topic transition processes for supporting Web exploring is proposed. Specifically, 1) Extraction of remarkable points in topic transitions among Web documents connected by hyperlinks, 2) Estimation of border lines for grouping Web documents based on the extracted topics are enforced. Finally, it is investigated by visualizing these results to support Web exploring bearing intelligent activities such as research surveys and exploratory learning in mind. This paper mainly describes an outline of the proposed method and trials to extract the points of topic changes as preliminary experiments for extraction of remarkable points in topic transitions among Web documents.
