| 抄録(和) | 身体の活動や状態を表現するのに使用される動詞を,乳児がいつ学習し始めるかを知ることは,言語発達や身体に関する認知を考える上で重要である.本研究では,動詞学習の基礎となる「音声と動作の対応づけ能力」の獲得時期を,1歳児を対象とした馴化パラダイムを用いて検討した.音声と動作を組合せた刺激に馴化させた後,音声と動作の組合せが異なる刺激と組合せが同じ刺激を交互に提示した.その結果,両刺激に対する注視時間から,音声と動作の対応づけ能力が14か月齢に獲得されることがわかった.実際,この時期に動詞の発話はほとんどない.だが理解の点では,この時期から動詞の学習能力を備えていることが示唆される. |
| 抄録(英) | This study investigated when infants begin to attach verbs to their referents in early lexical development. In a habituation "Switch" paradigm, 12-, 14-, and 18-month-old Japanese infants were first habituated to computer-animated events in which a fish was engaged in two different actions (rotating, rocking) paired with two pseudo-words in an intransitive verb sentence frame ("NEMA-teiru-na", "DAKU-teiru-na"). In test trials, the infants viewed two pairings that were the same (rotating-NEMA, rocking-DAKU) and two switched pairings (rotating-DAKU, rocking-NEMA). Results showed that 14- and 18-month-olds, but not 12-month-olds, looked significantly longer at the switched than at the same pairings, suggesting that by 14 months, infants are more likely to begin to map words onto actions. |
