Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This study suggests the system that can monitor the user, especially movement of the elderly using CCD camera loaded fish-eye lens and 2-axis acceleration sensor. Detecting of movement is performed by two parts of process, image sensor part and acceleration sensor part. In image sensor part, the images about behavior pattern are acquired. And in acceleration sensor part, the characteristics of posture are acquired. For the experiment, CCD camera which is loaded fish-eye lens is installed on the ceiling. And three acceleration sensors is attached on human body each other, chest, waist and leg. The acquired database will be applied to a ubiquitous home automation system. It will be used effectively for the welfare and the monitoring system of the elderly.
