Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Dynamic Spectrum Access has been drawing a significant deal of attention to improve frequency utilization efficiency since it enables to use the temporarily vacant frequency spectrum in terms of frequency domain and time domain. This report proposes a new multiple access technique for Dynamic Spectrum Access, named FFT-based VCB-TDMA (Variable Channel and Bandwidth TDMA), which is expected to be used for future mobile satellite communications as well. This report describes the principle of the proposed FFT-based VCB-TDMA and points out that the inter-channel interference is resulted from not only the filter characteristics but also the discontinuity of adjacent channel signals for FFT processing. In addition, this report proposes the inter-channel interference reduction technique using guard time. The inter-channel interference reduction is confirmed by the computer simulation in AWGN environments.
