Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | OFDM or multicarrier systems have emerged as a key technology for current existing terrestrial wireless systems. Because of their advantages over a single carrier system, OFDM is undergoing rapid progress and inspiring numerous applications. However, many technical issues still exist for adopting OFDM to satellite communications, i.e., non-linear amplifier compensation. In this article, we present a detailed investigation of various non-linear compensation techniques and provide a better understanding of the research challenges. |
