| 抄録(和) | 近年,光伝送システムの光パワーは,光増幅技術の導入やWDM技術の適用などによって,飛躍的に増大している.特に,分布ラマン増幅システムで用いられる励起光の光パワーは非常に大きく,その光パワーはW級に達する.一方,光線路の建設・保守業務の効率化を目的として光線路を保守する試験監視システムが導入されている.試験監視システムは光伝送システムの直近に配置されるため,通信光や励起光などの光パワーのハイパワー化に伴い,各種光部品の耐光性評価が必要である.本稿では,光ファイバ網を保守する試験監視システムにおいて,ハイパワー光入力に伴う要求条件を明確化し,各種光部品の実験的検討の結果について報告する. |
| 抄録(英) | Recently, the optical power in optical communication systems has been increasing rapidly through the use of WDM or distributed Raman amplification (DRA) technologies. When DRA technology is applied to WDM systems, a high power light is launched into optical fibers and fiber-optic components. The intensity of that optical power reaches several watts, and such a high power light may induce damage in optical fibers or fiber-optic components. On the other hand, optical fiber cable testing systems are installed to reduce construction and maintenance costs. Since the light with the highest optical power is launched into the systems in a central office, we must know how optical fiber and devices in these systems behave under such high power light input conditions. In this paper, we clarify the requirements for optical fiber cable testing systems for high power light experimentally. |
