Abstract(in English) We study a short-cavity DBR laser to realize a fast wavelength tunable laser which is a key componet for the next generation photonic network. We proposed n-type doped active DBR structure to expand the the continuous tuning range of the short-cavity DBR and achieved continuous tuning range of 6-nm. By applying this new structure to 8ch SC-DBR array, 32nm continuous tuing was achieved.
