Abstract(in English)	This paper reviews the recent progress on ultra-high speed and large capacity optical transmission technologies reported in ECOC2007 which was held in Berlin, Germany from September 17 to 20, 2007. The main topics are 100Gb/s/ch modulation format, optical OFDM, digital coherent detection, electronic compensation, long distance transmission of Tb/s class signal and so on.
